The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
