1/2 Hizb 45

۞ (It will be said to the angels): "Assemble those who did wrong, together with their companions (from the devils) and what they used to worship. 22 “Instead of Allah and herd them to the path leading to hell.” 23 and halt them [there]!" [And then,] behold, they shall be asked, 24 'Why do you not help one another? 25 In fact this day they have all surrendered. 26 And they will turn to one another and question one another. 27 saying: 'You used to come to us from the right hand' 28 Others will respond, "It was you who did not want to have any faith. 29 We had no power over you. You were a rebellious people, 30 “So the Word of our Lord has proved true upon us; we will surely have to taste (the punishment).” 31 We mislead you and we ourselves had also gone astray." 32 Truly, that Day, they will (all) share in the Penalty. 33 Lo! thus deal We with the guilty. 34 For when it was said to them: 'There is no god except Allah' they were always proud 35 saying, 'What, shall we forsake our gods for a poet possessed?' 36 Nay, but he brought the Truth, and he confirmed those sent (before him). 37 (They will be told), "You will certainly suffer the painful torment 38 And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do - 39 But the bondmen of Allah, the sincere ones 40 For them is a Sustenance determined, 41 and fruits while they are honored. 42 in the Gardens of Bliss 43 upon couches, set face to face, 44 A cup from a gushing spring is brought round for them, 45 White, a pleasure unto the drinkers. 46 No headiness there shall be therein, nor shall they be therewith inebriated. 47 And with them will be maidens (houris) who restrain their wide glances 48 (Delicate and pure) as if they were (hidden) eggs (well) preserved. 49 Then one turned to the other in an enquiry. 50 One of them will start the talk and say: "I had an intimate companion (on the earth), 51 'Do you believe in the Day of Judgment? 52 That when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed?'" 53 He saith: Will ye look? 54 He will look down and see him in hell. 55 He saith: By Allah, thou verily didst all but cause my ruin, 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought forth (to Hell)." 57 (Allah informs about that true believer that he said): "Are we then not to die (any more)? 58 Saving our former death, and are we not to be punished? 59 Indeed, this is the great attainment. 60 For this the toilers should strive." 61 Is that better as a hospitality, or the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum? 62 Lo! We have appointed it a torment for wrong-doers. 63 For it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-Fire: 64 and its fruits are like the heads of devils. 65 And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies. 66 On top of it they shall have a brew of boiling water, 67 then their return is to Hell. 68 Truly they found their fathers on the wrong Path; 69 Yet they hasten to follow in their footsteps. 70 Before them erred most of the ancients, 71 We had certainly sent warners to them. 72 and behold what happened in the end to those that had been warned [to no avail]! 73 Only Our sincere servants were saved. 74
