Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
