The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears will mind, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
