And verily it is a revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 brought down by the Faithful Spirit 193 Upon thy heart, that thou mayst be (one) of the warners, 194 It has been revealed in plain Arabic. 195 And verily, [the essence of] this [revelation] is indeed found in the ancient books of divine wisdom [as well]. 196 And has it not been a sign to them that it is recognized by the scholars of the Children of Israel? 197 If We had sent it down on a barbarian 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Even so We have caused it to enter into the hearts of the sinners, 200 They will not believe therein until they behold the torment afflictive. 201 that will come upon them [on resurrection,] all of a sudden, without their being aware [of its approach]; 202 Then will they say: "Can we be given respite?" 203 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 204 What do you see? If We gave them enjoyment for years, 205 And afterwards comes to them that (punishment) which they had been promised! 206 (How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them? 207 And We destroyed not a city but it had its warners. 208 for a reminder; and never did We wrong. 209 No evil ones have brought down this (Revelation): 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 indeed they are debarred from overhearing it. 212 So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. 213 And warn thou thy clan, the nearest ones. 214 Lower thy wing to those who follow thee, being believers; 215 If they disobey you, say, "I bear no responsibility for what you do." 216 And rely thou upon the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 Who sees you when you stand up. 218 and observes your movements among those who prostrate themselves. 219 Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Shall I tell you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend upon every lying, sinful one, 222 Who listens to you (for spreading rumours); but most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets - it is the seduced who follow them. 224 Observest thou not, that they wander about every vale. 225 and preaching what they themselves never practice. 226 Except those who believe and do the right, and remember God a great deal, who retaliate only when they have been wronged. Yet the oppressors will now come to know through what reversals they will be overthrown! 227
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
