And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
