Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7

And whoever turns himself away from the remembrance of the Beneficent Allah, We appoint for him a Shaitan, so he becomes his associate. 36 And verily they hinder them from the way, whilst they deem that they are rightly guided. 37 Till, when he cometh unto Us, he saith (unto his comrade): Ah, would that between me and thee there were the distance of the two horizons - an evil comrade! 38 On that Day it will not profit you in the least [to know] that, since you have sinned [together,] you are now to share your suffering [as well]. 39 CANST THOU, perchance, [O Muhammad,] make the deaf hear, or show the right way to the blind or to such as are obviously lost in error? 40 We shall punish them whether We take you away, 41 Or if We shew thee that wherewith We threaten them, verily We are going to prevail over them. 42 So hold fast to what has been revealed to you. You are truly on the right path. 43 And most surely it is a reminder for you and your people, and you shall soon be questioned. 44 And question thou our messengers whom We sent before thee; did We appoint any deities other than (Allah) Most Gracious, to be worshipped? 45
