Mutual Blaming (Al-Taghaabun)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth extols Allah's glory. His is the sovereignty and to Him is all praise due; He has power over everything. 1 It is He who has created you all but some of you have accepted the faith and some of you have not. God is Well Aware of what you do. 2 He created the heavens and the earth in truth and He shaped you and gave you good shapes. To Him is the arrival. 3 He knows whatever is in the heavens and the earth. He knows all that you conceal and all that you reveal. God is aware of what is in your hearts. 4 Have you not heard about those who denied the truth before you and tasted the evil consequences of their conduct? They will have a painful punishment. 5 That is because there came to them their apostles with clear arguments, but they said: Shall mortals guide us? So they disbelieved and turned back, and Allah does not stand in need (of anything), and Allah is Self-sufficient, Praised. 6 Those who disbelieve have claimed that they will never be resurrected. Say, "Yes, by my Lord, you will surely be resurrected; then you will surely be informed of what you did. And that, for Allah, is easy." 7 So believe in God, His Apostle and the Light We have sent down. God is well aware of what you do. 8 The day when He will gather you, on the Day of Collective Assembly – that is the day when the loss of the losers will be laid bare; and whoever believes in Allah and does good deeds, Allah will relieve him of his sins and admit him into Gardens beneath which rivers flow, for them to abide in it forever; this is the greatest success. 9 As for those who disbelieved and gave the lie to Our Signs: they shall be the inmates of the Fire, and will abide in it. That is a woeful resort! 10
