The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 in towering columns. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
