And truly, this (the Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists), 192 Which the trusted spirit descended with 193 Upon your heart that you may be of the warners 194 It has been revealed in plain Arabic. 195 And verily, [the essence of] this [revelation] is indeed found in the ancient books of divine wisdom [as well]. 196 And was this not a sign for them, that the scholars of the Descendants of Israel may recognise this Prophet? 197 And if We had revealed it (this Quran) unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it (the denial of the Quran) to enter the hearts of the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.). 200 They will not believe in it to the extent that they see the painful punishment. 201 So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not. 202 and then they will say: 'Shall we be respited' 203 Do they want to hasten Our torment? 204 Think! If We let them enjoy life for some years, 205 And then the promise that is given to them, does come upon them- 206 of what avail to them will be all their past enjoyments? 207 Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners - 208 for a reminder, and We never harmed. 209 The devils did not bring it down: 210 Neither would it suit them, nor they can (produce it). 211 Truly, they are expelled from hearing. 212 So call thou not upon another god with God, lest thou shouldst be one of those that are chastised. 213 Warn your tribe and your near kinsmen. 214 and be kind to your believing followers. 215 If they disobey you, tell them, "I condemn your disobedient deeds". 216 Put your trust in the Almighty, the Most Merciful, 217 who sees you when you stand 218 And watches your movements among those who prostrate in prayer. 219 Surely He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing. 220 [And] shall I tell you upon whom it is that those evil spirits descend? 221 They descend upon every sinful liar. 222 Who give ear, and most of them are liars. 223 And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them: 224 Observest thou not, that they wander about every vale. 225 And that they say that which they do not? 226 Except those who believe, work righteousness, engage much in the remembrance of Allah, and defend themselves only after they are unjustly attacked. And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take! 227
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
