And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
