Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 for an appointed term? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 The living and the dead, 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40
