The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
