[He is] Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He does not have a companion and He created all things? And He is, of all things, Knowing. 101 This is God, your Lord; there is no god but He, the creator of all things. So pay homage to Him, for He takes care of everything. 102 No visual perception can encompass Him, even though He encompasses all visual perception. He is the All-Subtle, the All-Aware. 103 "Now have come to you, from your Lord, proofs (to open your eyes): if any will see, it will be for (the good of) his own soul; if any will be blind, it will be to his own (harm): I am not (here) to watch over your doings." 104 This is how We explain Our revelations in various ways -- so that they might come to the point of saying, "You have read this out to us," and that We might make it clear [that this is the truth] to those who are eager to know. 105 Follow what is revealed to you from your Lord; there is no god but He; and withdraw from the polytheists. 106 If God had willed, they would not have associated anything with Him. We did not appoint you over them as their keeper, nor are you their guardian. 107 Revile not those whom they invoke besides Allah, lest they may spitefully revile Allah without knowledge. Thus fair-seeming unto every community We have made their work. Then unto their Lord is their return, and then He will declare unto them that which they were wont to work. 108 They have sworn by God the most earnest oaths if a sign comes to them they will believe in it. Say: 'Signs are only with God.' What will make you realize that, when it comes, they will not believe? 109 And We will turn away their hearts and their eyes just as they refused to believe in it the first time. And We will leave them in their transgression, wandering blindly. 110
