Verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) are Gardens of delight (Paradise) with their Lord. 34 What, shall We make those who are submissive like the wrongdoers? 35 What is [the matter] with you? How do you judge? 36 Or have you a book wherein you read, 37 surely in it you shall have whatever you choose! 38 Or have you received a solemn promise, binding on Us till Resurrection Day, that yours will assuredly be whatever you judge [to be your rightful due]? 39 Ask thou of them, which of them will stand surety for that! 40 Or do they have partners? Then let them bring their partners, if they should be truthful. 41 The Day the shin will be uncovered and they are invited to prostration but the disbelievers will not be able, 42 humbled shall be their eyes, and abasement shall overspread them, for they had been summoned to bow themselves while they were whole. 43 Leave those who reject the Quran to Me and I shall lead them step by step to destruction, without their being aware of it. 44 I shall respite them, My stratagem is firm. 45 Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask them a wage, so that they are heavily burdened with debt? 46 Or, is the Unseen with them, and they are writing it down! 47 So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress. 48 Had not a Grace from his Lord reached him, he would indeed have been (left in the stomach of the fish, but We forgave him), so he was cast off on the naked shore, while he was to be blamed. 49 Then his Lord chose him and placed him among the upright. 50 But the unbelievers would like to stare you out of balance when they hear the warning, and say: "Surely he is possessed;" 51 Whilst it is no more than reminder for the people of the world. 52
