There is no state you are in, whether reading from the Qur'an, or doing something else, but We are watching you as you are engaged in it. There is not the weight of an atom on the earth and in the heavens that is hidden from your Lord, nor is there anything smaller or greater than this but is recorded in the perspicuous Book. 61 Lo! verily the friends of Allah are (those) on whom fear (cometh) not, nor do they grieve? 62 They who believed and have been fearing God; 63 Unto them is glad tidings in the life of the world and in the Hereafter. No changing is there in the words of Allah. That! it is the mighty achievement. 64 And let not their speech grieve thee (O Muhammad). Lo! power belongeth wholly to Allah. He is the Hearer, the Knower. 65 Lo! verily Allah's is whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is on the earth. And what is it that they follow who call unto associate-gods beside Allah? They follow but an opinion, and they are but conjecturing. 66 It is He who made for you the night to repose in it, and the day, to see; surely in that are signs for a people who have ears. 67 Some people have said that God has begotten a son. God is too Glorious to have a son! God is Self-sufficient and to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. In this, you (people) have no authority. Do you ascribe to God things of which you have no knowledge? 68 Say, "Those who invent falsehoods about God shall not prosper." 69 Some enjoyment in this world; then unto Us they shall return; then We shall let them taste the terrible chastisement, for that they were unbelievers. 70
