Samood rejected the warning. 23 they said, "Are we to follow a man from amongst ourselves? We would surely then fall into error and madness. 24 Has the [Divine] message been revealed to him alone of all of us? No, he is a boastful liar." 25 They shall know tomorrow whichsoever is a liar insolent. 26 We shall send the she-camel as a trial for them; so watch their end with patience. 27 And declare thou unto them that water hath been divided between them; every drinking shall be by turns. 28 But they called to their companion, and he took a sword in hand, and hamstrung (her). 29 And how [severe] were My punishment and warning. 30 Then We sent a single blast against them and they became like dry stubble which has been trampled upon. 31 Now We have made the Koran easy for Remembrance. Is there any that will remember? 32 The people of Lut treated the warning. as a lie. 33 We sent a sandstorm against them which destroyed them all, except the family of Lot, whom We saved at the break of dawn, 34 As grace from Us. Thus We reward him who giveth thanks. 35 He had warned them of Our assault but they disputed the warnings. 36 And they indeed sought to shame his guest (by asking to commit sodomy with them). So We blinded their eyes, "Then taste you My Torment and My Warnings." 37 And in truth the punishment decreed befell them early in the morning. 38 So taste My punishment and warning. 39 We have made the Quran easy to understand, but is there anyone who would pay attention? 40

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
