The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
