Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And does not induce others to feed the needy. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 Who dissimulate 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
