Kill not your children for fear of want: We shall provide sustenance for them as well as for you. Verily the killing of them is a great sin. 31 Do not draw near to fornication, for it is an indecency, and its way is evil. 32 (ix) Do not kill any person whom Allah has forbidden to kill, except with right. We have granted the heir of him who has been wrongfully killed the authority to (claim retribution); so let him not exceed in slaying. He shall be helped. 33 And come not near to the orphan's property except to improve it, until he attains the age of full strength. And fulfil (every) covenant. Verily! the covenant, will be questioned about. 34 And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with a balance that is straight. That is good (advantageous) and better in the end. 35 And go not thou after that where of thou hast no knowledge verily the hearing and the sight and the heart, each of these shall be asked about. 36 And walk not in the earth exultantly; certainly thou wilt never tear the earth open, nor attain the mountains in height. 37 All that is evil in the sight of your Lord, and is detestable. 38 This is (part) of that wisdom wherewith thy Lord hath inspired thee (O Muhammad). And set not up with Allah any other god, lest thou be cast into hell, reproved, abandoned. 39 Hath then your Lord distinguished you with sons and taken for Himself females from among the angels? Verily ye say a saying mighty? 40
