And says man: What! when I am dead shall I truly be brought forth alive? 66 Does man not remember that We created him before when he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will bring them back to life with satan and gather them around hell in large groups. 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 We alone know who deserves most to be burned therein. 70 And every one of you will come within sight of it: this is, with thy Sustainer, a decree that must be fulfilled. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who deny the truth say to the faithful, "Which of the two sides is better in respect of position and makes a more impressive assembly?" 73 But how many (countless) generations before them have we destroyed, who were even better in equipment and in glitter to the eye? 74 Say: "As for him who lives in error, may the Most Gracious lengthen the span of his life! [And let them say whatever they say until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned - whether it be suffering [in this world] or [at the coming of] the Last Hour - for then they will understand which [of the two kinds of man] was worse in station and weaker in resources! 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieveth in Our revelations and saith: Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children? 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 No, indeed! We shall assuredly write down all that he says, and We shall prolong for him the chastisement; 79 and We shall inherit all the resources and hosts of which he boasts, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have taken gods besides Allah, that they should be to them a source of strength; 81 Indeed no! They will renounce their worship and turn against them. 82
