And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 And We gave to him his family, and the like of them with them, as a mercy from us, and a reminder unto men possessed of minds; 43 We said to Him, "Take a handful of twigs in your hand and strike with that but do not break your oath." We found him steadfast. What an excellent servant! He turned constantly to his Lord. 44 Remember Our votaries Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of power and insight. 45 Verily We did choose them for a special (purpose)- proclaiming the Message of the Hereafter. 46 And behold, in Our sight they were indeed among the elect, the truly good! 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a Reminder. The righteous shall have a good place to return to: 49 Gardens of Eden, whereof the gates are opened for them, 50 Therein will they recline (at ease): Therein can they call (at pleasure) for fruit in abundance, and (delicious) drink; 51 ۞ And with them are those of modest gaze, companions. 52 This is what you are promised for the day of reckoning. 53 This is surely Our provision never-ending. 54 This: and verily for the exorbitant there shall be an evil retreat: 55 Hell, in which they will burn. How vile a resting place! 56 This, [then, for them] so let them taste it: burning despair and ice-cold darkness 57 And other torments of similar kind, all together! 58 “Here is another group that was with you, falling along with you”; they will answer, “Do not give them plenty of open space; they surely have to enter the fire – let them also be confined!” 59 But they will say: 'No, it is you that has no welcome. It was you who brought it upon us, an evil place' 60 They will say: "O Lord, give him who has brought this upon us two times more the torment of Hell;" 61 And they will say, "How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we used to count among the wicked, 62 Have we taken them in mockery? Or, have our eyes swerved from them?' 63 That most surely is the truth: the contending one with another of the inmates of the fire. 64
