And those who emigrated for [the cause of] Allah after they had been wronged - We will surely settle them in this world in a good place; but the reward of the Hereafter is greater, if only they could know. 41 Those who are patient and on their Lord do they rely. 42 Before you also the messengers We sent were but [mortal] men to whom We vouchsafed revelation. Ask the People of the Book, if you do not know. 43 [and they will tell you that their prophets, too, were but mortal men whom We had endowed] with all evidence of the truth and with books of divine wisdom. And upon thee [too] have We bestowed from on high this reminder, so that thou might make clear unto mankind all that has ever been thus bestowed upon them, and that they might take thought. 44 Then, do those who have planned evil deeds feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them or that the punishment will not come upon them from where they do not perceive? 45 Are they confident that God will not seize them while they are on a journey? They will not be able to escape from God. 46 Or that He would not seize them gradually [in a state of dread]? But indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful. 47 Do the people not see how the objects Allah has created cast their shadows right and left, prostrating themselves in utter submission to Allah? 48 And unto Allah prostrateth itself whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth of the living creatures and also the angels; and they are not stiff-necked. 49 they fear their Lord above them, and they do what they are commanded. ۩ 50
