The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
