Call upon those whom you set up beside God! They possess not an atom's weight either in the heavens or on the earth, nor have they any share in either, nor has He any helpers among them. 22 No intercession avails with Him, except on the part of one to whom He grants permission. When their hearts are relieved of fear, they will enquire from those to whom permission is granted, "What has your Lord said?" They will answer, "The truth. He is the Most High, the Supreme One." 23 ۞ Say: "Who gives you food from the heavens and the earth?" Say: "God. Surely either you or we are on guidance, or are lost in clear error." 24 Say: You will not be questioned as to what we are guilty of, nor shall we be questioned as to what you do. 25 Say: 'Our Lord will bring us all together, then, with truth, He will rightly judge between us. He is the Opener, the Knower. 26 Say: Show me those whom ye have joined unto Him as partners. Nay (ye dare not)! For He is Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. 27 NOW [as for thee, O Muhammad,] We have not sent thee otherwise than to mankind at large, to be a herald of glad tidings and a warner; but most people do not understand [this,] 28 They say: "When will this promise (come to pass) if ye are telling the truth?" 29 Say, "That day has already been decreed for you and you cannot change the time of its coming even by a single hour." 30
