(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Or, has he not been told of that which is in the Scrolls of Moses 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
