The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When the sun is wound up; 1 And when the stars fall, dispersing, 2 the mountains are scattered about as dust, 3 And when full-term she-camels are neglected 4 when the savage beasts shall be mustered, 5 and when the seas are set on fire, 6 when the souls are coupled (to their body), 7 When the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned - 8 For what sin she was slain. 9 And when the books are spread, 10 When the world on High is unveiled; 11 And when the hell is kindled up, 12 and Paradise brought nigh: 13 then shall each person know what he has brought along. 14 I swear by the receding stars, 15 And by the planets that move swiftly and hide themselves, 16 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 17 and the morn as it softly breathes: 18 That this is in truth the word of an honoured messenger, 19 with strength endowed, secure with Him who in almightiness is enthroned 20 obeyed by (all creatures) and faithful to His trust. 21 Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness 22 he truly saw him on the clear horizon; 23 He (Muhammad) is not accused of lying about the unseen. 24 And it is not the word of an accursed Satan; 25 Where then will you go? 26 That is but an advice to the entire creation! 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. 29
