۞ O men, it is you who stand in need of God. As for God, He is above all need, worthy of praise. 15 If He wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new creation. 16 that is not difficult for God. 17 And no burdened soul will carry another soul’s burden; and if a burdened soul calls another to share the burden, no one will carry any part of it, even if he is a close relative; O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), your warning only benefits those who fear their Lord without seeing and who keep the prayer established; and whoever cleansed himself, has cleansed for his own benefit; and towards Allah only is the return. 18 Not equal are the blind and the seeing, 19 Nor are (alike) the darkness (disbelief) and the light (Belief in Islamic Monotheism). 20 Nor are the shade and the heat, 21 Neither are the living and the dead alike. Surely Allah makes whom He pleases hear, and you cannot make those hear who are in the graves. 22 Thou art naught but a warner. 23 Verily! We have sent you with the truth, a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner. And there never was a nation but a warner had passed among them. 24 And if these disbelievers deny you, those before them had also denied; their Noble Messengers came to them with clear proofs and scriptures and the bright Book. 25 So We seized the unbelievers. How great was the change I wrought in their condition then! 26
