We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night. How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
