The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
