Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
