The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 9
