Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 The living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
