Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 and guarded them from every accursed Satan 17 save him who may eavesdrop, and then a bright flame pursues him. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 to provide you and those for whose sustenance you are not responsible, with the necessities of life. 20 There is nothing except that its treasuries are with Us and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 And We sent the winds that relieve the clouds’ burden, therefore caused water to descend from the sky, then give it to you to drink; and you are not at all its treasurers. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
