It is God who sends down water from the sky for you to drink and produces plants as pasture for your cattle. 10 He causes to grow for you thereby the crops, olives, palm trees, grapevines, and from all the fruits. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought. 11 He has subjected for you the night and the day and the sun and the moon and the stars have also been made subservient by His command. Surely there are Signs in this for those who use their reason. 12 All that He has created for you on the earth are of different colors. In this there is evidence of the Truth for the people who take heed. 13 And He it is Who has made the sea subservient that you may eat fresh flesh from it and bring forth from it ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships cleaving through it, and that you might seek of His bounty and that you may give thanks. 14 And He has set up on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and rivers and roads; that ye may guide yourselves; 15 and waymarks; and by the stars they are guided. 16 Is then the One Who creates like the one who does not create? Will you not, then, take heed? 17 If you tried to count God's blessings, you would never be able to number them. God is ever forgiving and most merciful. 18 And Allah knows what you conceal and what you do openly. 19 And those upon whom they call beside Allah have not created aught, and are themselves created. 20 dead, not alive; and are not aware when they shall be raised. 21
