۞ O people, it is you who stand in need of Allah; as for Allah, He is Self-Sufficient, Immensely Praiseworthy. 15 If He will, He can be rid of you and bring (instead of you) some new creation. 16 This is well within the power of God. 17 No burden-bearer shall bear another's burden, and if some over-laden soul should call out for someone else to carry his load, not the least portion of it will be borne for him, even though he were a near relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord in the unseen, and pray regularly. Anyone who purifies himself will benefit greatly from doing so. To God all shall return. 18 Equal are not the blind and those who can see, 19 Nor are the darknesses and the light, 20 nor shade and heat 21 and neither are equal the living and the dead [of heart]. Behold, [O Muhammad,] God can make hear whomever He wills, whereas thou canst not make hear such as are [dead of heart like the dead] in their graves: 22 You (O Muhammad SAW) are only a warner (i.e. your duty is to convey Allah's Message to mankind but the guidance is in Allah's Hand). 23 We have sent you with the Truth to proclaim good news and to warn. Never has there been a nation but a warner came to it. 24 If they reject you, so did their predecessors. Messengers came to them with clear signs, with scriptures, and with the enlightening Book, 25 Then I seized those who disbelieved, and how was My rejection! 26
