And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
