Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 Indeed, they are astonished that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. So these deniers of the truth say, "This is indeed a strange thing, 2 to come back to life after we have died and become dust? That is most improbable!" 3 We know all what the earth decreases from them; and with Us is a Book that retains. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 What, have they not beheld heaven above them, how We have built it, and decked it out fair, and it has no cracks? 6 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and We made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 and tall palmtrees with compact spathes 10 A provision for (Allah's) slaves. And We give life therewith to a dead land. Thus will be the resurrection (of the dead). 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 and so did 'Ad, and Pharaoh and Lot's brethren, 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the folk of Tubb'a: every one denied their messengers, therefor My threat took effect. 14 Were We exhausted by the act of the first creation? And yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
