In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Alif Lam Mim 1 That is the Book, wherein is no doubt, a guidance to the godfearing 2 Those who believe in the unseen and keep up prayer and spend out of what We have given them. 3 who believe in what has been sent down to thee and what has been sent down before thee, and have faith in the Hereafter; 4 They have found the guidance of their Lord and will be successful. 5 As for the Disbelievers, Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not it is all one for them; they believe not. 6 Allah has sealed up their hearts and ears and a covering has fallen over their eyes, and they have incurred the severest punishment. 7

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
