Seest thou not that it is Allah Whose praises all beings in the heavens and on earth do celebrate, and the birds (of the air) with wings outspread? Each one knows its own (mode of) prayer and praise. And Allah knows well all that they do. 41 And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and to Allah is the destination. 42 Have you not seen how Allah drives the clouds, then gathers them and converts them into a mass, then you see rain coming from the midst of them? And He sends down out of heaven mountains in which there is hail, pelting with it whom He will, and turning it away from whom He will. The flash of its lightning almost snatches away the sight. 43 Allah turns over the night and the day; most surely there is a lesson in this for those who have sight. 44 Allah has created every [living] creature from water. And of them are those that move on their bellies, and of them are those that walk on two legs, and of them are those that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent. 45 Assuredly We have sent down revelations illuminating: and Allah guideth whomsoever He listeth unto a path straight. 46 And they say: We believe in Allah and the messenger, and we obey; then after that a faction of them turn away. Such are not believers. 47 And when they appeal unto Allah and His messenger to judge between them, lo! a faction of them are averse; 48 But if the truth happens to be to their liking, they are quite willing to accept it! 49 Is there in their hearts a disease, or have they doubts, or fear they lest Allah and His messenger should wrong them in judgment? Nay, but such are evil-doers. 50
