Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 “Allah Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
