Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 in a hidden Book 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat of the dying 83 and that hour you are watching 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
