The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 by a burning fire 5 As they sat around it 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And they persecuted them for naught save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 Those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for them await gardens underneath which rivers flow; that is the great triumph. 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 Nay; but this is a glorious Qur'an, 21 written on a preserved Tablet. 22
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
