Ha. Mim. 1 [This is] a revelation from the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful - 2 A Book of which the verses are made plain, an Arabic Quran for a people who know: 3 It bears glad tidings and a warning, yet most of them turn away and do not listen. 4 And they say, "Our hearts are within coverings from that to which you invite us, and in our ears is deafness, and between us and you is a partition, so work; indeed, we are working." 5 Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Physically I am a human like you – I receive the divine revelation that your God is only One God, therefore be upright towards Him and seek forgiveness from Him”; and woe is to the polytheists. – 6 Who give not the poor-rate; and they! in the Hereafter, they are disbelievers. 7 Indeed for those who believed and did good deeds, is a limitless reward. 8
