The only saying of the believers when they were called to Allah and His apostle that he might judge between them was that they said: we hear and we obey. And these! they are the very ones blissful. 51 those who obey God and His Messenger, and fear God, and are mindful of their duty to Him, are the ones who will triumph. 52 ۞ They swear firm oaths by God that if you command them to march forth, they will obey you. Say, "Do not swear: your obedience, not your oaths, will count. God is well aware of all your actions." 53 Say: 'Obey God, and obey the Messenger; then, if you turn away, only upon him rests what is laid on him, and upon you rests what is laid on you. If you obey him, you will be guided. It is only for the Messenger to deliver the manifest Message.' 54 God has promised those of you who believe and do righteous deeds that He will surely make you successors in the land, even as He made those who were before them successors, and that He will surely establish their religion for them that He has approved for them, and will give them in exchange, after their fear, security: 'They shall serve Me, not associating with Me anything.' Whoso disbelieves after that, those - they are the ungodly. 55 And establish prayer and give zakah and obey the Messenger - that you may receive mercy. 56 Think not the unbelievers able to frustrate God in the earth; their refuge is the Fire -- an evil homecoming. 57
