The People of the Woods denied the Noble Messengers. 176 when their brother Shu'ayb said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 177 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust. 178 So fear God and follow me. 179 I ask no recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 180 ۞ "[Always] give full measure, and be not among those who [unjustly] cause loss [to others]; 181 Weigh with correct scales: 182 “And do not give the people their goods diminished, and do not roam the earth causing turmoil.” 183 “And fear Him Who created you and the earlier creations.” 184 They said: "You are only one of those bewitched! 185 “You are just a human like us, and indeed we consider you a liar.” 186 Therefore cause a portion of the heaven to come down upon us, if you are one of the truthful. 187 (Shu'aib) said: "My Lord knows well what you are doing." 188 But they called him a liar, so the punishment of the day of covering overtook them; surely it was the punishment of a grievous day. 189 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not Muslims. 190 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 191
