Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 you are indeed one of the messengers 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah). 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 We have set-up a barrier in front of and behind them and have made them blind. Thus, they cannot see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
