And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
