Say: 'People of the Book! Come now to a word common between us and you, that we serve none but God, and that we associate not aught with Him, and do not some of us take others as Lords, apart from God.' And if they turn their backs, say: 'Bear witness that we are Muslims.' 64 O people of the Book, why dispute about Abraham? The Torah and the Gospel were sent down after him: Do you not understand? 65 You even argue about what is already known to you. What can you learn from arguing about that which you have no knowledge? God knows but you do not know." 66 No, Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Nazarene. He was of pure faith, a submitter (Muslim). He was never of the idolaters. 67 Verily, among mankind who have the best claim to Ibrahim (Abraham) are those who followed him, and this Prophet (Muhammad SAW) and those who have believed (Muslims). And Allah is the Wali (Protector and Helper) of the believers. 68 A group among the People given the Book(s) desire that if only they could lead you astray; and they only make themselves astray, and they do not have sense. 69 (Muhammad), say, "People of the Book, why do you deny the revelation of God (the Quran) even though you know very well that it is from God?. 70 Ye People of the Book! Why do ye clothe Truth with falsehood, and conceal the Truth, while ye have knowledge? 71
