▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

Let not the deniers of the truth be deluded that they will gain any advantage. Surely, they, can never overcome Us! 59 Prepare against them whatever arms and cavalry you can muster, that you may strike terror in (the hearts of) the enemies of God and your own, and others besides them not known to you, but known to God. Whatever you spend in the way of God will be paid back to you in full, and no wrong will be done to you. 60 ۞ And if they incline to peace, do thou incline to it; and put thy trust in God; He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing. 61 And should they seek to deceive you, Allah is sufficient for you. He it is Who strengthened you with His succour and the believers 62 And united their hearts; had you spent all that is in the earth, you could not have united their hearts, but Allah united them; surely He is Mighty, Wise. 63 O Prophet (Muhammad SAW)! Allah is Sufficient for you and for the believers who follow you. 64
