The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
